About Linda
Hot, powerful and unstoppable, Linda is a native of Washington, D.C. She started singing at age 12 while in elementary school and competed in local talent shows.
In school, Linda was always involved in theatre and dance, but singing was her primary passion. In the late 70’s, she teamed with two other close friends to form the singing trio Rare Pleasure. Since then, Linda has gone on to sing in many other local groups. She has a broad repertoire that spans R&B, Smooth Jazz, Pop, Seasonal and Gospel, including tunes by artists such as Teena Marie, Kim Burrell, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige and Eryka Badu.
Local bands constantly seek her; she is booked for studio sessions and live performances as well.
Watch out for this Lady – she will blow you away with her dynamic vocals and vast diversification!
